Today was my first day of work and I have to admit that it wasn’t so bad grated all I did today was learn how to aporat and work Excel, so it wasn’t so bad but I what I did learn was pretty interesting. I’ll just keep updating this journal after every shift of mine.

Today was a tad more difficult because I had to use the knowledge I obtained to try and work on the spreadsheet, I have to admit it gets kinda boring after awhile but I can always take a break if I need to but I don’t need to, see you next time.

Happy new year! And rightfully so because I only had to work two hours today woohoo. But to check in I have to say things are still going great and I feel like i’m learning more and more day by day though the spreadsheet did crash today soooo not the best

We figured out what happened and managed to fix the spreadsheet but that meant that I had to do double the work from yesterday since most of it was lost.

Another early work day for me today and this time it wasn't because of a crash nope this it was because I had homework to do and my mom had to work her own project, so i'll probably have maybe a couple more days before i'm done with this internship which is pretty sweet.

Not a lot of time to write got to go to dinner so quick recap, today was easy nothing special and I manged to complete my first spreadsheet.

She found another project for me to work on which apparently won't take very long but will require me to do so math. which sucks but my mom will probably teach me how to do what I need to do.

Final write Up.
Hello my name is Tobias Cochran and for my internship I worked on creating a spreadsheet for my mother which was used to help advertise products for the company that she works for, In this paper I will describe what: Specific skills were used, what my Daily duties were, I will also give a general synopsis of what was learned in the internship, A example of an obstacle during the internship, and a comparison from my initial expectations of the internship and what the experience was really like as I was working on the internship and receiving help from my mother.
During the internship I was able to learn about exel a spreadsheet program which is what was primarily used to help display the products, their cost, how many were sold, and the total profit in both U.S. currency and yen. The daily duties included working on the spreadsheet in different parts whether that be in gathering the pictures of the products or finding the prices of those products and seeing how many were sold in the year, it should be mentioned that while at times the total amount sold was already posted on the spreadsheet by my mother at other times I would be required to do the calculations myself, if there was no more to do on the spreadsheet I was allowed to leave until she had another project for my or if she wished to teach my something that I already didn’t know about excel. I primarily used my skill of problem solving to help me get past any calculations that I was required to do. One obstacle that I did encounter that I alone could not get past was when I was unable to locate a proper image of the product that was supposed to be listed, other than that and a few technical glitches that couldn’t be avoided there were no other huge obstacles during the internship.
When I first started this internship I thought that it was going to be easy to accomplish and that I could just get it over with in a few hours and that I really wouldn’t learn much other than how to work a spreadsheet, but what really happened was me spending a good deal of time just watching and learning how to work the spreadsheet before I could even start my work, and as I was working on it I found myself starting to understand it more and more as time went on, and when I had to convert yen into U.S. currency and then calculate the prices for them. That by it self took more than a few attempts, but in the end I had the help I needed when I needed it and in the end I had a lot of fun during this internship and learned how to use a program I had never even heard of before. This has been Tobias K. Cochran.
